This App is for schools and bus operators to host their buses live on Bus-i.com. An android phone in the bus is all you need to make your bus GPS enabled for your clients. It will require a passcode that you can generate by setting up buses on the Bus-i admin console. Visit www.bus-i.com to sign-up for free!

Schools are never charged, and no hardware installations are required on the bus.

IMPORTANT: Google Play Services must be installed on your in-bus phone to use this. Most Android mobiles have it pre-installed, but If you are using a non-standard device or custom firmware then please download it from the Play Store

internet, access_network_state - Data connection required to send your bus location to Bus-i.com servers.

read_external_storage, write_external_storage - For storing one-time login information of the driver.

read_gservices - Google services is required for location tracking.

access_coarse_location, access_fine_location - Required to detect the bus location.

get_accounts - To attach the driver login ID to the phone user account.

wake_lock - To wake up the phone periodically to track the bus location while asleep.

receive_boot_completed - To restart service after shutdown due to low battery etc.

receive - To receive broadcast messages pertaining to last minute changes to driver, route etc.
